Visual Journal Assignment #10
Due: Monday, November 17th
The
current design of the one dollar bill was debuted back in 1963. For
this visual journal assignment, you will create a new design for the one
dollar bill.
Think
about what people/historical events/important U.S. locations you could
use to re-design the one dollar bill. You will be re-designing both
sides of the one dollar bill. Each side should be different in some way
and reflect something about our country. Some things on the bill you
should include are: the name of our country (The United States of
America) and the denomination of the bill ($1)
For
your paragraph, describe how you came up with your concept for the new
dollar bill design and why you think it would make a good new concept.
Remember, your paragraph should be at least 3-5 sentences long. You
should also be spending, at minimum, 30 minutes per week on your
assignments (30 minutes of actual drawing/writing time, not thinking
time).
